What Does TikTok Shop's New 14-Day LIVE Number Actually Count?
TikTok Shop's Brand LIVE Impact credits livestreams with sales up to 14 days later, including on your own site. What it counts, what it misses, what to check.
Brand LIVE Impact is a new module in TikTok Shop Seller Center (Analytics, Brand Analytics), documented in a TikTok Shop Academy guide published November 2, 2026. Its headline figure, LIVE long-term GMV, adds four things: sales inside the live room, purchases in the same shop within 24 hours by viewers who browsed or added to cart, purchases of the brand's products through other TikTok formats within 14 days, and purchases on the brand's own website within 14 days if a Pixel is bound. It is US-only, limited to A1, A2 and allowlisted brand merchants, and covers only streams from the brand's own Official and Marketing accounts. Figures keep changing for 14 days after a stream ends. It includes no incrementality test and doesn't see Amazon, Walmart or store sales, so treat it as TikTok's view of correlated sales, not proof the stream caused them.
- TikTok Shop's November 2 guide defines LIVE long-term GMV as Direct + Indirect (24 hours) + Onsite Spillover (14 days) + Offsite Spillover (14 days, brand website, Pixel required).
- Access is limited to A1, A2 and allowlisted US brand merchants, and only streams from a brand's own Official and Marketing accounts count. Creator-hosted streams are out.
- The number isn't final until the Mature Date, 14 days after the stream ends. A Black Friday (November 27) stream settles December 11.
- Live Diagnosis still uses a 24-hour window, so the same stream shows two different sales figures on two screens.
- There's no holdout or incrementality test, and Amazon, Walmart and in-store sales are invisible to it, so it can overstate on TikTok and understate everywhere else.
- The same week, TikTok Shop's October Compass roundup added order-level analysis by seller vs. creator, a subscription cohort dashboard and search rankings, all labeled reference only.

TikTok Shop just made livestreams look better on paper. Whether they actually got better is a separate question.
On November 2, TikTok Shop published an Academy guide for a new Seller Center module called Brand LIVE Impact. PPC Land read the whole thing, and the short version is this: a brand's livestream now gets credit for sales made up to 14 days after a viewer touches a product in the live room, including sales on the brand's own website.
If you run TikTok Shop for a CPG brand, this number is going to land in a leadership inbox soon. The guide says the CXO Report goes out by recurring email. So it's worth knowing what's inside it before someone asks you why the livestream suddenly "worked."
What does LIVE long-term GMV add up?
TikTok's formula, quoted in the guide, is: Long-term GMV = Direct GMV + Indirect GMV + Onsite Spillover GMV + Offsite Spillover GMV.
Each piece has its own rule:
- Direct GMV is payment completed inside the live room.
- Indirect GMV is a purchase in the same shop within 24 hours by someone who browsed or added to cart during the stream but didn't buy. Last-touch.
- Onsite Spillover is a purchase of the brand's products within 14 days through other TikTok formats: product cards, short videos, carousels.
- Offsite Spillover is a purchase on the brand's own website within 14 days. It only shows up if a TikTok Pixel is bound.
So one total is built from three different windows. Immediate, 24 hours and 14 days.
The trigger matters too. Reach counts anyone who watches, but the sales pieces need the viewer to have browsed a product or added it to cart in the room. That's a reasonable bar. It's also a bar a loyal repeat buyer clears without thinking.
Who actually gets this report?
Not everyone. The module is US-only and, per the guide, "available to A1 / A2 / allowlisted brand merchants." TikTok doesn't define those tiers in public.
It also only covers live rooms run from the brand's own Official and Marketing accounts. Streams hosted by affiliate creators on accounts you don't operate aren't in it. For a lot of CPG brands, that's where most of the LIVE volume sits. Keep that in mind before you read the dashboard as "our LIVE program."
What you see also depends on setup. With a Pixel plus two settings the guide calls TTMS and TTBC (it doesn't expand either), you get offsite sales and the broadest "new to platform" customer count. Missing pieces drop you to "new to brand" or "new to shop," and without a Pixel the offsite number simply isn't there, so the total reads low.
Why can't you judge a stream the next morning anymore?
Because the number keeps moving for two weeks. TikTok says data "continues to update for 14 days after the live ends" and calls the end date plus 14 days the Mature Date. Its own advice: wait for maturity before you draw conclusions.
Do the Q4 math. Thanksgiving is November 26 this year. A brand stream that ends on Black Friday, November 27, matures December 11. A Cyber Monday stream on November 30 matures December 14. Any holiday recap before mid-December is working with partial numbers.
There's a second trap. The Top 3 LIVE panel links to Live Diagnosis, which still uses a 24-hour window. The guide itself says the Live Diagnosis result "should be used only as a reference." Same stream, two screens, two totals.
I'd pick one window per decision and write it down. Use 24 hours for what to fix in next week's run of show. Use the matured 14-day figure for budget. Don't mix them in one slide.
What doesn't the 14-day number tell you?
Three things, and they're the ones a CFO will ask about.
First, causality. As PPC Land notes, the guide mentions no incrementality test, control group or holdout. The figure records purchases that followed a live interaction. A shopper who taps your detergent in a stream on Tuesday and reorders on your site the next Monday counts, even if she was going to buy anyway.
Second, paid vs. organic. LIVE Shopping Ads and GMV Max aren't in the guide, and it doesn't split paid viewers from organic ones. If you're spending to push traffic into the room, you can't use this module alone to see what the spend did.
Third, everywhere you actually sell. Offsite Spillover means your website. TikTok's August Off-site Performance Analysis report, per PPC Land, excludes Amazon, Walmart and offline stores outright. For most CPG brands that's the bulk of revenue. A viewer who watches your stream and then buys the same SKU on Amazon two days later is invisible here.
So the number can run high on TikTok and low on the halo you care about. Both at once.
One more setup note. The guide warns that "duplicate counting may occur when multiple shops are tied to the same Pixel." If you run separate shops for different lines against one website, check that before you trust the offsite slice.
What else changed in TikTok Shop analytics this week?
Brand LIVE Impact didn't arrive alone. The same day, TikTok Shop published an October roundup of nine Business Compass additions for US local sellers, also covered by PPC Land. Three matter most for consumables brands:
- Order Analysis in AI Report breaks GMV down to order and SKU level, with a seller vs. creator source split and direct vs. indirect attribution. If you pay affiliate commission, this is the closest TikTok has come to showing which sales your own content drove.
- The Subscription Dashboard now has cohort retention, cancellation reasons and delivery-cycle analysis. For a reorder product, cohort retention is the honest way to see who leaves after the first discounted delivery.
- Search rankings for shops, products and trending search terms. TikTok published no methodology, but it's the first in-app search read most brands will have.
Every one of them carries the same caveat. TikTok says Order Analysis "does not replace settlement statements or financial records," and the whole roundup is framed as reference data. Reconcile against your payouts before anything goes in a board deck.
How should a CPG brand report TikTok LIVE now?
Here's the checklist I'd run before the holiday streams start.
Confirm whether your brand can see Brand LIVE Impact (Seller Center, Analytics, Brand Analytics). If you can't, nothing changes yet, but your TikTok rep may start quoting it. Check that a TikTok Pixel is bound to your website, and that two shops aren't sharing one Pixel. Report Direct GMV and long-term GMV side by side, every time, so leadership sees how much of the total is spillover. Log each stream's Mature Date and don't close the book on a stream before it. Pick one window per decision: 24 hours for run-of-show fixes, matured 14 days for budget. Watch your Amazon and Walmart sales for the same SKUs in the 14 days after big streams. That's the halo TikTok can't see. If you can, run a simple holdout: skip streams for one product line for two weeks and compare. Reconcile Order Analysis creator-attributed GMV against what you actually paid in commission.
The cross-channel step is the one most teams skip, because the data lives in four places. Amazon is moving to pull TikTok and Walmart orders into Seller Central, per its September announcement, but today that's order handling. Amazon says the combined profit and ad spend view comes later, and none of it tells you what a livestream caused. Our guide to unified marketplace data covers how to build one view you control. If ad metrics are part of the same conversation, the TACoS and retail media glossary pages are a quick refresher on the denominators.
My take: Brand LIVE Impact is a better number than Direct GMV alone. Livestreams do drive later purchases, and pretending they don't undersells a channel that works for a lot of beauty, snack and household brands. But it's TikTok's number, built on TikTok's rules, with no third-party check. Use it to argue for the channel. Don't use it to size the budget until your own data agrees.

Frequently asked questions
What is TikTok Shop Brand LIVE Impact?
It's a module under Brand Analytics in TikTok Shop Seller Center that reports three things for a brand's own livestreams: deduplicated reach, long-term GMV over a 14-day window, and new customers in four tiers (new to LIVE, shop, brand or platform). TikTok Shop documented it in an Academy guide dated November 2, 2026.
Who can see Brand LIVE Impact?
Per the guide as reported by PPC Land, it's US-only and available to A1, A2 and allowlisted brand merchants. TikTok doesn't define those tiers publicly. It covers live rooms on the brand's self-operated Official and Marketing accounts, not streams hosted by affiliate creators.
Why does my LIVE GMV keep changing after the stream?
Because the window is 14 days. TikTok Shop says data keeps updating for 14 days after a live ends and is only stable after the Mature Date (end date plus 14 days). Pull your post-event numbers after that date, not the morning after.
Does Brand LIVE Impact count Amazon or Walmart sales?
No. Offsite Spillover covers purchases on the brand's own website through a TikTok Pixel. TikTok's earlier Off-site Performance Analysis report, documented in August 2026, also excludes Amazon, Walmart and offline stores. If most of your volume is on marketplaces, you'll need your own cross-channel read.
Can Brand LIVE Impact double count sales?
Yes, in one documented case. The guide warns that duplicate counting may occur when multiple TikTok shops are tied to the same Pixel. Brands running more than one shop against one website should check their Pixel setup before trusting the offsite figure.
